How to Make Saffron Milk – Step-by-Step Guide for Perfect Flavor
Saffron Milk is a centuries-old drink that blends the goodness of milk with the richness of saffron and the subtle aroma of cardamom. Not only is it delicious, but it’s also packed with antioxidants and nutrients, making it a wholesome choice for both kids and adults. The saffron gives it a naturally golden hue and a slightly floral taste, while almond powder adds a nutty depth. A touch of cardamom lifts the aroma, making it truly irresistible.
To make it, start by combining milk, sugar, and crushed saffron in a pot over medium heat. Once it comes to a boil, turn off the heat and let the flavors infuse for a minute or two. Pour into a serving cup and garnish with crushed almonds for a nutty crunch. If you prefer a cold version, bloom the saffron in a little warm milk first before mixing it into chilled milk—this ensures the vibrant color and flavor are fully released. This recipe is easy to prepare, customizable to your sweetness preference, and can be enjoyed year-round.
